    Shacharit and Bagel Breakfast

    The Sunday morning Shacharit service starts at 9.00am in the Synagogue library.  It is a welcoming, inclusive, lay led service that includes time for discussion, learning and praying together.  Many take the opportunity to lay Teffilin at this time.

    After the service, the group meets for a bagel and coffee in the kitchen.

    School Years Rec-6. Our Sunday morning learning programme is a nourishing space for young people to build, develop and explore their Jewish identity. We also introduce the students to Hebrew, working with them to develop reading skills as well as familiarity with some of Judaism’s sacred texts and liturgy.

    Jewish Mindfulness Meditation through the Ten Days

    The Alyth Meditation Room offers a space for contemplation and spirituality.  Led by expert facilitators and Rabbis drawing from the Jewish meditative tradition.  You are welcome to attend every session, or to simply drop in when you wish, and no pre-booking is necessary.

    Meet outside The Frog at Skirmett RG9 6TG (Parking limited so advise to car share)
    Take M40 to junction 5. Turn left through Ibstone towards Fingest. At Fingest turn right to Skirmett.
    Walk through arable fields and beech woods with beautiful view of Idlecombe valley. Sometimes hilly and maybe muddy.
    Bring boots and sticks.
