The aims of the Centre are to bring a variety of events to Alyth to showcase the important position Jewish music and musicians in this country, and to take members of the community to events of interest outside of Alyth.

The centre was launched in October 2012 with an outstanding performance of Emperor of Atlantis by Victor Ullman given by English Touring Opera.  In January 2014 the dramatic song cycle The Angel in the Forest composed by Julian Marshall to poetry by Getrud Kolmar was sung by the world renowned  James Gilchrist to mark Holocaust Memorial Day.

The Annual Jewish Music Fair occurs during February half term and participants can choose from over 30 Jewish music sessions throughout the day with a chance to perform, participate, listen, learn, socialise, network, eat, drink and have a stimulating or relaxing day depending on your mood.
