The Alyth Book Club - "Putting God Second: How to Save Religion from Itself”

    20:00-22:00
Join Rabbi Josh for the new Alyth Book Club. Every two months we will come together to discuss a Jewish book over light refreshments and a glass of wine. Over the months we will read a range of works from across the religious spectrum.

Our first book will be “Putting God Second: How to Save Religion from Itself” by Rabbi Donniel Hartman.

The book is available for kindle and in paperback from retailers
including amazon.co.uk and bookdepository.com. Please let Rabbi Josh know that you are coming at josh@alyth.org.uk.

(For all those post B’nei Mitzvah)

Written especially for Alyth by our Rabbis and the Youth and Education Hub. This is a two year rolling programme to deepen every aspect of Jewish life.  This year’s programme starts with a critical look at the Jewish calendar.  Other topics for the year include prayer and liturgy, Jewish history, and Jewish life and ritual.
