Our regular Shabbat morning service is a contemporary Reform service led by one of our Rabbis, normally accompanied by our volunteer choir and the piano, with a combination of reading, chanting, song and reflection.
On most weeks there is also a parallel service, meeting the different needs of the community. Occasionally these services take place in our main Beit Tefillah.
Our senses of speech and hearing are well-exercised during this season. But what about our sense of sight? Join Rabbi Colin for a journey looking at how Yom Kippur has been depicted in Jewish art. Can these images open up new ways of understanding the High Holy Days?
On this Shabbat Shuvah, join Rabbi Mark and Maxine Levy for a service combining our traditional prayers and an interactive Torah reading with meditations to help us to make the transitions and changes we aim for during the High Holy Days. Together we will experience a time of menuchah, Shabbat rest, deepening teshuvah, atonement.
