A semi-autobiographical comedy-drama. Baltimore 1954, the year of school desegregation. A ‘nice Jewish family’: the father runs a burlesque/strip club, works an illegal numbers racket and is jailed for prostitution and gambling. Two sons in their late teens in relationship: one with a girl from a WASP family; the other with an African American girl. Just an everyday story of suburban Jewish folk.

Talmud Trip to Israel

A wonderful week of learning, friendship and seeing behind the curtain into new perspectives on Israel. We will be visiting Haifa, the Kinneret and Tiberias, Akko, Beit Shean and Jerusalem learning all the way in the footsteps of the Rabbis who wrote the Mishnah and Talmud. For all ages.
