MMM: Monthly Midrash in the Morning - Elul Special

    10:15 – 11:30

Midrash is, technically, any act of rabbinic biblical interpretation, but it is most often used to mean the way that the rabbis created new ideas and stories around the biblical narratives.  In this session with Rabbi Josh, run once a month over danish, fruit and tea and coffee, we look at some of the highlights of this rabbinic creativity.  In this special session for Elul, we will use midrash to understand how the rabbis viewed the High Holy Day period, and to find extra meaning in it for ourselves.
