Alyth celebrates a 100th birthday (of a member)

Last Sunday (31 January 2016) Alyth hosted the 100th birthday party of Kay Weissand, once of Alyth’s longest standing members.

In addition to all of Kay’s family and friends, the party was also attended by the Mayor and Mayoress of Barnet, Mark and Melissa Shooter. The Mayoress was particularly well behaved as it turned out that Kay taught her at school 40 years ago.

Alyth is lucky to have 3 centenarians and looks forward to celebrating more 100^th birthdays with our members.
