Join us for the Kabbalat Shabbat service and then the Year 8 Chavurah Dinner; a “pot luck” dinner, where everyone provides a vegetarian or fish (nut free) dish, main course or dessert, and we all sit down together and enjoy dinner. This is for all families in Year 8, regardless of whether your child has had their Bar or Bat Mitzvah yet.

School Years 7-8. Our Friday afternoon B’nei Mitzvah programme for at least four full terms prior to your Bar or Bat Mitzvah.

All generations of the Alyth community come together every Friday night for our Kabbalat Shabbat (Shabbat Evening) service. The service begins at 18:30 and is no more than one hour in length. With participative music, a thoughtful Dvar Torah, time to think and a powerful sense of community, this is one of the best-attended and most rewarding Shabbat services in the whole of London.
