The Sunday morning Shacharit service starts at 9.00am in the Synagogue library. It is a welcoming, inclusive, lay led service that includes time for discussion, learning and praying together. Many take the opportunity to lay Teffilin at this time.

Purim at Alyth begins with Megillah readings for adults and families at 10:15. From 11:00 we will be opening the Shushan Palace, a carnival of activities for the whole community, including a Purim costume parade, hamentaschen and spoon competitions, Haman’s hobby horse races and great food and music. The Palace closes to the public at 12:30! The Purim costume run (or walk) of 1km, 2km or 5km distances sets off at 11:30 from Alyth with various routes to choose from.
If you plan to run or walk any distance on behalf of our four great causes please send your name and email address to bonnie@alyth.org.uk and we will send you a ‘Runner’s Pack’ well in advance of the day. Go to www.alyth.org.uk/alythrunsatpurim for more information.
