News for Jews – Antisemitism the bigger picture

    20:00 – 22:00

This evening is one in a series of conversations we will be holding at Alyth over the coming year where a major issue in the news needs to be considered within our community. The evening will begin with a panel including London Jewish Forum’s Adrian Cohen, J-Core’s Edie Friedman, writer and  sociologist, Keith Kahn-Harris, Labour Local Councillor, Tony Klug, Special Advisor on the Middle East to the Oxford Research Group and former Head of Strategy for Tessa Jowell, Adam Langleben. Then we will split into smaller groups facilitated by our panellists to discuss the issues that they will raise around anti-Semitism which have occupied the front page of the JC and much other media in recent weeks such as the Charkrabarti enquiry, the Oxford University Labour Club enquiry and statistics on anti-Semitic attacks.
