Be the first to learn new pieces, specially commissioned for Alyth, and then introduce the community to them at our monthly Kids Choir Shabbat.

Of course Kaballat Shabbat is always a wonderful coming together of our community. However, this will be a particularly special event as we invite our young participants from our leadership training programme to the bimah to be blessed and officially welcomed to the community as leaders. It is a monumental transition in our synagogue journey when young people graduate and take that step from chanichim (participants) to madrichim (leaders). We invite you all to come and celebrate this ritual with us as we bring in Shabbat together and celebrate their journey.
Participants and their families are invited to stay for a Chavurah Supper after the service.

Our weekly service for under 5’s with Rabbi Hannah, Chloe Kimmel, our Youth and Education Hub Early Years Educator, and Tor Alter, our Head of Kindergarten. A fun way to share the Jewish tradition with our youngest children. Join us for song, stories and to meet some new friends in Alyth’s Shabbat den.
