Welcome to our parallel monthly service which encourages diverse voices. Expect communal participation, accessible melodies and spontaneous harmony; the voice of Hebrew spoken, chanted and sung; the voices of all ages with no "shushing"; the voice of the intellect in the D'var Torah (explanation of the Torah portion); the voice of experience, and the voice of learning anew; the voice of the Torah translated, read and sung; the voice of a rabbi... but more voices of lay people; the voice of someone performing a mitzvah for the first time alongside the voice of experience, guiding and encouraging. There is the voice of silence to contemplate. And there are only voices – no musical instruments.
Come and add your voice to Kollot!
