Duration: 2 Hours
Every Saturday morning we hold a Shacharit (morning) service in the Bet Tefillah, the community's main Synagogue hall. The service is normally two hours in length. It includes meditative prayers, singing together with our Synagogue choir, reading the Torah portion of the week (often done by a young person in celebration of their Bar or Bat Mitzvah) and hearing a thought provoking sermon given by one of the Rabbis, members or guests of the Synagogue. Right after the service we join together for Kiddush, sharing Challah bread, wine and other Jewish foods - and a good chat!
