Alyth Kindergarten was established in 1970 to provide pre-school education for Jewish families.
The nursery school’s outstanding reputation has grown over the years and continues to maintain its unique position in the area for its child-centred and caring approach.
Through free expression in all forms of creative art, music and movement, drama, constructive and imaginative play, our children are encouraged to develop at their own pace to become sociable, independent, secure and confident, and aware of the world around them.
We create confident and happy children
We encourage the children to be kind and helpful to other children, and to be creative and active themselves. We aim to prepare children for their entry to primary school so that they leave us as confident, happy children, keen to learn and absorb knowledge, and socially ready and mature to fit into the new social group at their school.
Our experience over the last 40 years has shown that the more mature children are when they enter primary school, the better they cope with the educational demands made on them.
