Sunday Morning Galim “Streams in Judaism” outing

On Sunday 15 November the Year 5 class from Sunday Morning Galim went to visit Golders Green United Synagogue in Dunstan Road as part of their “other streams in Judaism” curriculum.

The object of the visit was for the children to compare how another synagogue integrates with their community and the facilities that they offer their members and how this compares with Alyth as a community.

David Warshaw, the class teacher said that it was really important for synagogues to get together on occasions such as this and to learn from each other even though they may have distinct differences in the way that they practice their Judaism.
